Difference between GR and Exclusive kicks? Your ego...

Do I own exclusive sneakers? Absolutely. I have sneakers that have not released, sneakers that were released in small numbers, and sneakers that a lot of people camped out for. However, these sneakers are not the majority of my "collection", not because I cannot afford these sneakers or because I do not have the means of acquiring them, but solely because I do not like them. If you walk into my room right now, the majority of sneakers in my room are indeed "general releases" because all of those sneakers are color ways and silhouettes that I enjoy.

So you ask me. "Hey guru, what does my ego have to do with it?" Well, its funny that you ask, and I am going to tell you why!

I cannot tell you how mad I get when I see people talking down to others because they have more pe's or qs's than the other person. Congratulations, you have successfully made yourself look like a douche. One big ol' bag of douche.

I feel bad for you, because you are someone who chose to join this thing they call sneakers to feel like you had power over "lesser" people. To me, that just screams I need attention and I need a life. Well thats dope, good luck for you, because you wont find it here, and if you do, its found from people who are the same as you, hungry, not because they love this, but because they want to grow their ego just like you.

This post is me ranting, solely me ranting, but hey, fuck it, this is my blog.

Im Guru, I love sneakers, no matter the price or the availability.

I do ME, not what I think will make me cool.

Fuckin' Watch Me.

Kobe Vs. LeBron ~ SOLELY KICKS

First and foremost lets take their play out of the picture. Lets just talk sneakers here. We can discuss why neither of them is Mike another time. Word?

I have 2 questions for the good people of ITSB. Those of you that know me, know that I am from Boston. I am, and always will be a HUGE Celtics fan. However, I still respect the rest of the players in the league, and am very fond of BOTH Kobe and LeBron. I recently picked up a pair of the Ink Kobe V, passing on the bred LeBron 8, just felt the V had a much nicer color scheme to it. Fair enough, the first GR release of the 8, and one of the last it seems of the V.

However, this got me thinking a little bit. I sat for a while comparing the LeBron 7 GR and QS color ways to the same categories of Kobe V. Then I moved on to whether the Kobe 6 is going to be better than the LeBron 8. And how can I not wonder who has the better signature line in general.

So this is a 3 part question. Let me line em’ up for ya.

1. What sneaker had better RELEASED color ways (NOT PE)?
LeBron 7 or Kobe V

2. Who has the better upcoming sneaker?
Kobe with the 6? Or LeBron with the 8?

3. What player has the better signature line? This is solely from a silhouette stand point. No color way battles here.

Lets hear your thought in the comment section as well as on twitter by posting the #KobeOrLeBron has tag.

SPEAK!
